This position provides financial and analytical support to Senior Financial Management, Group Logistics Managers, and Logistics Managers. REMOTE work from HOME, must reside in EST time zone Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field Minimum of 4 years of Finance and/or Accounting experience Strong understanding of income statements and balance sheets Intermediate skills with MS Excel (analyzing large data sets, vlookups/hlookups, pivot tables, filtering, waterfall charts) Additional Requirements Experience in transportation / logistics industries (preferred) Effective communication skills with all management levels Problem-solving, self-motivated, and able to prioritize Proactive and innovative thinking Self-starter, minimal guidance needed Strong interpersonal skills for communicating complex financial data Intermediate skills with MS Word (styles, mail merge, tables, graphics, headers/footers) Intermediate skills with MS PowerPoint (templates, multimedia, animations, publishing) Experience with MS Access or other database tools (helpful but not necessary) Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis: forecasting, business planning, performance analysis Operational Initiatives: identify cost/productivity improvements with logistics managers Month-End Closing: journal entries, variance explanations, ledger research Customer invoicing, revenue posting, monitoring aging reports Training: financial policies, procedures, tools for operations staff Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance: operational audits, liaising with Shared Services and Corporate Accounting Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $65,000 - $85,000.
