Fleet and Safety Administrator
PrideStaff, a firm specializing in recruiting, is actively seeking a dynamic professional for our client to optimize Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Fleet Management. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance, elevate safety standards, and drive efficient vehicle operations. This role is pivotal in conducting inspections, spearheading safety initiatives, meticulously managing fleet records, and championing driver and employee safety training.

Shift/Hours:  Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Pay Rate: $20/hr.-$25/hr.  depending on experience
Location:  Fort Myers, FL
Experience: 1+ Years
Temp to hire position with a great benefits package once hired on by client. 

Fleet and Safety Administrator Job Responsibilities:

• Fleet Management: Oversee maintenance, track performance metrics (service history, fuel, downtime), ensure regulatory compliance, manage vendor relations, and support vehicle lifecycle (acquisition, replacement).
• Safety & Compliance: Facilitate workplace safety inspections, lead incident investigations, manage Workers’ Compensation documentation, coordinate comprehensive safety training, ensure adherence to OSHA/EPA, and contribute to EHS policy development.
• Administrative Excellence: Maintain precise program records, generate insightful performance reports, coordinate key meetings and training, and provide robust administrative support.

Fleet and Safety Administrator Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is required.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Superior verbal and written communication.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Workers’ Compensation regulations.
• Fleet management software experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to work autonomously.

Fleet and Safety Administrator Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years in fleet or safety administration.
• Valid driver’s license with an impeccable record.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NAFA, OSHA) are a distinct advantage.
