Job Description
Baskets & Blooms For You is looking for a talented and exprienced Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design, have strong work ethics and work well independently while being a committed team player. Our shop is a combined gift basket and flower shop. You will be responsible for day-to-day activities of the shop including customer service, floral design, gift basket creation and maintaining the showroom and flower cooler displays.
Strong floral design skills and experience working in a flowers shop are must haves for this position.
Responsibilities
-Design & create floral arrangements and gift baskets for all occasions
-Assist customers in selecting the perfect floral or gift basket designs for their special occasion
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the flower shop
-Maintain gift basket invetory and process suppier shipments received
-Process orders taken by phone, in person, email and website
-Process deliveries and communicate with delivery personnel
-Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
-Collaborate with the team to process orders efficiently and to meet sales goals
Qualifications
-Strong experience in the floral industry with strong design skills, floral knowledge and wholesale ordering of flowers
-Passionate about customer service and satisfaction
-Strong written and oral English skills
-Experience in retail sales
-Ability to sell products and upsell based on customer needs
-Must have stamina to stand for long periods, carry and lift products
-Must have vehicle for occasional pick up of flowers or specialty items for gift baskets
-Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Internet, Email, Scanning, Troubleshooting
-Flexibe work schedule
-Positive and happy outlook
