You will lead forensic investigations for community association transitions and construction claims, providing expert testimony in depositions and trials. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead forensic investigations to assess structural conditions and identify deficiencies
  • Serve as an expert witness in depositions, mediations, and courtroom proceedings
  • Create detailed field reports and comprehensive expert testimony documentation
  • Review architectural/engineering drawings, specifications, and project manuals
  • Oversee material testing and structural analysis to support your expert findings
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop effective case strategies
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the firm's technical knowledge base

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in architectural/engineering consulting
  • Previous expert witness experience is essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • OSHA 10 Certification (preferred)
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Excellent project management abilities
  • Detail-oriented with superior analytical skills
