Role Summary:

Free People is looking for a Planning & Allocation intern to join their team this Summer. Our Planning and Allocation intern will help maximize sales and manage inventory in order to maximize sales to achieve financial objectives for the division while partnering cross functionally with all counterpart teams.

The URBN 2025 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/2 through 8/8 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.

Summer Internship Program Application Process:

1. Complete Video Interview: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email is received.??

1. Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing on a rolling basis.???

Role Responsibilities:

• Work in synergy with Buying and Merchandising toward common goals for the merchandise area.
• Support planning counterparts with reporting and operational functions needed within the division.
• Assist in developing style-level plans based on current forecast, historic trend and test information for key items or attributes.
• Help allocate merchandise for one or more departments.?
• Participate in OTB, Strategy, and Hindsight meetings, contributing input on distribution strategies.?
• Weekly reporting on company sales and trending
• Tracking styles on-order and turnover units

Role Qualifications:

• Passionate about retail and ecommerce planning and eager to learn new skills
• Expert command of retail math concepts and applications
• Strong statistical analysis skills
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
