GENERAL SUMMARY

To provide assistance to the GIS Team by completing and improving metadata gathering, data management and dissemination efforts using the Esri Product Suite. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description. Assists in GIS map production. Assists in maintaining enterprise geodatabases within ArcGIS Pro. Assists in maintenance and upkeep of data within Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online. Operation and Maintenance of Esri mobile and web-based applications to include Field Maps, Survey123, QuickCapture, Instant Apps, and/or Experience Builder. Understand metadata information and metadata standards requirement. Understand the River Authority’s metadata style (FGDC). Understand different data types created by Esri products (services, live data, and others). All other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS This position does not directly supervise any employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED with at least two semesters completed at an accredited college or university; college major in Geography, Engineering or Environmental Sciences with the use of Geographic Information Systems.
