Golang/AWS Developer Visa : Any ( No OPT) Experience : 8+ Contract : W2 ( No C2C ) Location: Merrimack NH local or candidate provides a good reason they will relocate / timeline onsite 2 weeks per month starting Sept. 2024 Must Have Skills: Golang Development, Strong AWS( Serverless ) environment working history. Good understanding of SRE Golden signals-( four golden signals of monitoring are latency, traffic, errors, and saturation.) Preferred Skills: NATS- Open Source messaging System-- similar to Kafka AWS Lamdas, DynamoDB, SKS, serverless open search-- Hiring Manager Notes: Team works on developing Market Data Applications for customers (Fidelity Clients) and working in public cloud (AWS) Domain Knowledge: As a member of FFIO Market Data Engineering team, you will be working on developing modern market data applications and operate them over the public clouds. You will be helping millions of Fidelity customers make financial decisions based on the quality of data delivered through these applications. The Expertise and Skills You Bring 5+ Years of experience in developing Enterprise applications in Java or Go Development Experience in Python, Snowflake, Groovy, and Shell Scripting is a plus. Bachelors and/or master's in computer science or other related field Experience in designing and implementing real-time Market Data applications. Experience in writing AWS CloudWatch/Insights queries Experience in creating dashboards in Data Dog Good understanding of SRE golden signals, and service level metrics Good understanding of observability metrics and open standards Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery is a plus Experience working with AWS and or any other public clouds like GCP/Azure. Delivery focused with end-to-end ownership Familiarity with agile development and ability to work well with team members Strong commitment to learn and implement high standards in engineering Experience in developing enterprise applications in Java, or Go Experience in Unix/Linux and shell scripting Familiar working with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS. Familiar with Cassandra database and CI/CD pipelines Experience with automated testing (unit/functional and/or performance) The Team The FFIO Market Data Engineering team delivers and supports innovative market data service solutions to meet the needs of internal business partners and external customers.
