Position Description:
As a Grain Harvesting Product Specialist , you will be closely connected to a travelling Custom Harvest Crew. This position is expected to:
• Drive the adoption of advanced technologies like Machine Sync, Combine Automation, Advanced Guidance, In-Field Data Sharing, Operations Center, and JDLink Boost.
• Work with customers and their dealers to integrate and demo technologies before and during the harvesting season to communicate and prove the impact that technology will have on their operation.
• Review customer performance and act on data-driven insights throughout harvest season to drive technology adoption
• Collaborate with harvest support to ensure customers are successful with technology and products are supported in harvest.
• Provide reoccurring customer feedback with product enhancements and ensure customer value is realized across clients.
Skillset Requirements:
• Customer Focus : A deep commitment to understanding and solving customer challenges, especially in the custom harvester segment.
• Technical Acumen : Familiarity with advanced agricultural technologies, operations center, and harvesters.
• Self-Motivated : Willingness to identify and engage with customers with little oversight.
• Mechanical Knowledge : Willingness and ability to install hardware and software on customer machines in the field.
Nice-to-Have Skillsets:
• Knowledge of onboard and offboard technologies such as Advanced Guidance, combined automation, and the Operations Center.
• Ability to explain the benefits of technology and help customers understand what will help them in their operations
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 100% of the time during the custom harvest season (May – September).
• Strong familiarity with precision agriculture technologies and/or client's products.
• Experience working with customers and dealers
• Ability to consume and analyze utilization data to drive results for our customers.
