We are seeking a skilled Head Gardener to support a UHNW Couple in Sands Point, NY. This role will lead a team in managing comprehensive landscaping and greenhouse needs. This role includes oversight of property animals.
Requirements:
- Experience in landscaping, horticulture, or estate gardening.
- Strong organizational skills and team leadership/managerial experience.
- Ability to manage landscaping, garden maintenance, and greenhouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of 4-5 landscaping staff, ensuring timely and quality work.
- Oversee landscaping programs and greenhouse maintenance.
- Support care and supplies for property animals in coordination with the House Manager.
- Monitor staff adherence to schedules and work assignments.
Schedule:
- 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday, with flexibility and occasional weekend availability as needed.
Compensation:
- $80,000 annually, with flexibility for more based on experience, with benefits.
Location:
- Long Island (Sands Point), NY.
