Our work depends on Data Analyst Associate joining our team to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) mission to conduct oversight, monitoring, and audits of the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program. Responsibilities Performs data analysis, interpretation, and reporting duties. Develops rules and methodologies for data collection and analysis. Works with a team to conduct analysis and present findings to our team and customer. Collaborate with leadership and team members to identify solutions to complex challenges. Use critical thinking and exploratory research to understand program rules and how data can provide insights to inform decision making. Utilize analytic skills including ability to efficiently work with large datasets to uncover patterns and trends that are meaningful to program oversight and action. Required Skills Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of related experience using technology to conduct analysis and report findings. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE CONDUCTING IN DEPTH ANALYSIS OF HEALTHCARE CLAIMS AND EXPENDITURES INCLUDING PRESCRIPTOIN DRUG CLAIMS. Experience using SQL, Python, Tableau, SAS or similar analytic and reporting tools. Desired Skills Excellent communication and problem solving skills Conducing in-depth analysis of healthcare data including prescription drug claims The likely salary range for this position is $80,750 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
