We are seeking a passionate and experienced Permanent Clinical Dietitian to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is an incredible opportunity for a dedicated professional who is eager to make a significant impact on the lives of patients by providing exceptional nutritional care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing and implementing nutrition programs, and evaluating and reporting the results. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure our patients receive the highest level of nutritional care. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients, considering their medical history, lifestyle, dietary habits, and preferences.
  • Develop, implement, and manage individualized nutrition care plans based on the specific needs and conditions of patients.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Provide dietary counseling and education to patients and their families to promote healthy eating habits and prevent disease.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities to stay updated with the latest nutrition research, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including patient privacy and data security.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to nutrition care.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
  • Excellent knowledge of clinical nutrition and the ability to translate this knowledge into practical dietary advice.
  • Strong ability to assess patients' nutritional status and develop individualized care plans.
  • Excellent communication and counseling skills, with the ability to explain complex dietary concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High level of professionalism and adherence to ethical standards.
