Job Title: Hotel Security Guard - Holiday Inn Express Las Vegas, NV

Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and trustworthy Hotel Security Guard to join our team at Palette Hotels, LLC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property. No prior experience is necessary, although experience in security or law enforcement is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol Duties:

• • Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises, including hallways, lobbies, corridors, and parking areas to ensure safety and security.

• Guest and Employee Safety:

• • Respond promptly to any security issues, alarms, or emergencies, providing assistance and support as needed.

• Incident Reporting:

• • Document and report any incidents, suspicious activities, or security breaches.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all security activities and incidents.

• Access Control:

• • Monitor and control access to restricted areas.

• Customer Service:

• • Provide excellent customer service to guests and employees.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: No prior experience necessary; experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is a plus.
• Skills:

• • Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
  • Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred but not required.

• Physical Requirements:

• • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Unarmed Security Guard Card/License (PILB Registration)
