Housekeeper

Position Details: Live-In

Location: Washington, DC

Days: Mon - Fri

Hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Compensation: $65,000 to $90,000 per Year

Additional Benefits: All room and board included. Utilities and meal money all paid. Healthcare plan subsidies available. 

Start Date: 5/12/2025

A Washington DC family is looking for a Housekeeper/House Cleaner who will help to assist a vibrant 82 year old woman who lives alone. Cleaning and light meal prep a must. Summers are spent in Nantucket Island and there will be occasional travel. Dog care and occasional nannying duties for grandkids is a possibility.

Main Work Duties: 

• Cleaning of kitchen, bedroom and closets.
• Light meal prep.
• Keeping client organized and comfortable.
• Help packing for trips.
• Pet care

Required Qualities: 

• Reliable
• Helpful
• Experienced cleaner.
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills.

Requirements: 

• Minimum 3+ solid years of related experience working in a private home.
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must speak and be able to communicate well in English ( Spanish is a plus).
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
