We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heat pump systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install air-source, ground-source, or hybrid heat pump systems, including connecting ductwork, wiring, and plumbing components.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of heat pumps, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• System Design Assistance: Collaborate with engineers or sales teams to determine system specifications and layouts based on customer needs.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to explain installation processes, provide operational guidance, and address concerns.
• Compliance: Ensure all work meets local building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Documentation: Complete accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance services.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other technicians, electricians, and subcontractors on projects.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a heat pump installer, HVAC technician, or similar role.
• Certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field (e.g., EPA 608 certification).
• Knowledge of heat pump technologies, including air-source and ground-source systems.

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to heat pump installation and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, outdoor settings, and elevated locations.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working on ladders or scaffolding.

Licenses:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Red Seal HVAC license
