Project Intern will be working on: Project for Process Automation Proposals Project Description and Objective (Include what the Intern will be learning): Analyze various processes related to production optimization, material flow and ergonomic assistance for the operator. The project will primarily focus on the twisting area and depending on the time available, may expand to other areas of the plant. Outcome of Project (Goals of what the intern should accomplish): For this, the intern will work with Industrial Engineering to analyze the times of various processes where there is significant waste, risks to the physical health of the operator, or excessive intervention in material flow. Based on these studies, we will identify different automation options and subsequently perform a cost-benefit and return-on-investment analysis.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Industrial Engineering or related field. Minimum GPA of 2.8 Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
