Job Description:

We are seeking a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to support the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of commercial and community solar PV systems. This is a great opportunity to work on innovative solar and storage projects while advancing your electrical career in the renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities:

• Install and connect solar PV systems for commercial solar facilities, including inverters, panels, and wiring.
• Conduct Main Panel Upgrades (MPUs) and interconnections to utility service.
• Perform electrical tests and inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in existing solar installations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to plan and execute solar projects.
• Maintain clear documentation of work, job progress, and system status, including accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Assist with training and mentoring apprentices.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures on job sites.

Qualifications:

• Valid CA Journeyman Electrician license required.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and solar PV technology.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Experience with battery storage systems and interconnection process.
• Familiarity with permitting and inspection procedures.

Job Type: Temporary project based position. Potential for permanent position depending on experience and travel availability.

Salary: CA Prevailing Wage
