Responsibilities: - Perform detailed cleaning and sanitization of surfaces including floors, walls, ceilings, and equipment.
- Collaborate with Food Services staff to uphold federal, state, local, and hospital sanitation protocols.
- Work on assigned cleaning projects and assist in maintaining adequate inventory levels of equipment.
- Implement hand hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures according to hospital guidelines.
- Assist with tray retrieval and delivery as per departmental policies.
- Participate in the orientation and training of new team members.
- Other duties as assigned to support team objectives.

Qualifications Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in dish room operations, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Familiarity with food and restaurant regulations is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong social skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Flexibility to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
- Capable of lifting items over 75 lbs. and operating equipment safely.
Working Conditions: - Varied work environments including tight spaces, wet areas, and temperature fluctuations.
- Physical requirements include standing, kneeling, and occasional lifting of heavy items.
- Exposure to hot water, chemicals, and odors typical of kitchen environments.
- Rotating shifts with early morning, overnight, weekend, and holiday availability may be required.
