Job Description
Prestigious law firm in Orange County is seeking qualified Paralegal/Legal Assistant with experience in insurance defense related work, including surety and fidelity, and personal injury. Must have experience with electronic filing for state and federal courts, calendaring important deadlines: 998 offers, responsive pleadings due dates, trials, motions, etc., assist with preparation, filing, and service of complaints, discovery, deposition notices, demands, and subpoenas; organize trial exhibits, including, formatting points and authorities, and redacting documents. Must be able to draft and finalize meet and confer letters regarding deficient discovery responses. Ability to summarize medical records and transcripts, a plus.
Position Requirements:
This is a full-time/hybrid position starting immediately. Exact compensation will vary based on skills and experience, with a range from $60K/yr. - $75K/yr. We offer medical, dental, life, vision, 401k.
