Legal Recruiting Coordinator
Position Type: Full Time

Hybrid Scheduled (1 - 3 Days Onsite)
Location: Los Angeles
Salary Range: $66,600.00 - $90,000.00*

JOB SUMMARY:
The Legal Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for providing support related to the recruitment and hiring of attorneys and summer associates for the Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. offices. The coordinator will work with other Legal Recruiting staff on a variety of projects and interact with firm lawyers and personnel, candidates for summer associate and associate positions, law school career professionals and vendors related to the recruiting function.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Work closely with a Legal Recruiting Manager to coordinate all aspects of law student and attorney recruiting efforts including:
Scheduling candidate interviews and callbacks.
Coordinating timely reference checks.
Collecting feedback and preparing candidate files for offer consideration.
Generating on-campus interview reports.
Coordinate administrative aspects of on-campus and entry-level recruiting, including registering for on-campus interviewing programs, job fairs and student outreach events, and preparing interview packets and materials.
Support the law school liaisons by tracking activity and providing event logistical support.
Help plan and coordinate the summer associate program, including researching and planning social events, preparing orientation schedules, maintaining summer program materials and tracking budget, compiling materials for weekly committee meetings, overseeing work assignment process, and maintaining summer associate calendar and other materials.
Liaise with the marketing department to enhance our social media profile.
Perform miscellaneous projects and tasks as assigned.
Prepare candidate offer and regret letters.
Prepare, send and track search firm fee agreements.
Update applicant tracking system and prepare reports as needed.
Prepare attorney statistics as needed for surveys, questionnaires and firm-related matters.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
1-3 years related experience in campus recruitment, particularly with a law firm.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word).
Knowledge of SharePoint to enhance data sharing and/or create SharePoint site content.
Fluency with LawCruit and/or ViRecruit and Workday preferred.
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure in challenging circumstances.
Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively develop and maintain partnerships with attorneys, professionals, management and peers while providing excellent customer service as a trusted resource.
Ability to be available, as needed, to work extended hours, nights, weekends.
Knowledge of recruiting best practices and procedures as well as relevant laws and regulations with ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments, using judgment and initiative to accomplish results and meet service or goal commitments for campus recruitment.
Ability to find creative solutions and avenues to solve operational and strategic issues of law school recruitment.
Proficiency in using social media platforms to promote the firm's recruiting efforts.
Ability to analyze reports and projections regarding market trends in diversity, legal recruiting and retention.
