This role requires 36-40 hours per week, including weekend calls. Ideal candidates should be flexible and cannot work only 1-2 weekends a month or one week a month. The work schedule involves first assisting in procedures, with scheduled clinic hours from Monday to Friday. Call shifts will be from 6 PM to 6:30 AM, with weekend call running from Friday evening to Monday morning. Most responsibilities will be in the operating room, with some required time in the ICU. The provider will work with specific equipment and will handle patient encounters of 3-4 per shift. Lunch breaks are not included in worked hours and should be handled accordingly. Credentialing may take 60-120 days. Candidates must hold the required certifications and meet the board eligibility criteria. The facility is classified as a level 1 trauma center.
