Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, 1:30 PM-12:00 AM Hourly Rate: $31.43 an hour $1.00 shift differential Conagra Brands in Hagerstown, proud makers of Gardein, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will join a team of about 250 and will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. Schedule: 2nd Shift | 1:30pm - 12:00am | You will need to be available for possible weekend work Starting Pay: $31.43/hour | Your wage will increase over time Position Responsibilities: Must follow all Plant, Safety, Quality, and Lockout/Tagout regulations Read, interpret and work from schematics, sketches, and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Maintain operational tasks of plant machinery and equipment, ensuring Safety and Quality Troubleshoot Electrical components and replace/reprogram VFD’s Safely operate shop equipment including Lathe, Drill press, Hydraulic press MIG/TIG weld Make and repair parts such as Shafts, guards, flanges, and pipes. Work from different heights on scaffolding, mechanical lifts, and ladders as a last resort Can obtain and sustain a forklift license Can demonstrate performance in correcting machine failures, preventative maintenance and in developing working relationships with fellow employees and management Analyze data to make effective decisions Work with others to identify opportunities for improving machinery and maintenance systems Can become certified in Ammonia/Boiler Rooms Other tasks as assigned by supervisor, department manager, or plant leadership Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED – required 5 Years as a Maintenance technician - Prior experience should include working knowledge of electrical motors and industrial electrical controls, including design, wiring, and troubleshooting of advanced motor control and safety circuits Can safely operate shop equipment including Lathe, Drill press, Hydraulic press MIG/TIG weld Can read, interpret and work from schematics, sketches, and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Experience with PLC systems preferred Anticipated Close Date: January 31, 2025 Location: Hagerstown, Maryland Our Benefits: We care about your total well-being and will support you with the following, subject to your location and role: Health: Medical, dental and vision insurance, company-paid life, accident and disability insurance Wealth: G reat pay, 401(k)/pension eligibility, financial wellness programs and stock purchase plan Growth: Career development opportunities, employee resource groups and team collaboration Balance: P aid-time off and volunteer opportunities Our Company: At Conagra Brands, we have a rich heritage of making great food.
