Market Development Executive II - Manufacturing

Youll be at the forefront of helping businesses transform their cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and analytics to ensure they are future-ready.

As a Market Development Executive with Insight, youll be the catalyst for identifying new opportunities within our existing client base. Well count on you to introduce customized data solutions to approximately 20 large enterprise clients across a spectrum of industries. Youll manage the sales process from the initial contact, through negotiation, to the final close. Along the way, youll leverage Insights unique services expertise to provide everything our clients need to progress in one place: a creative vision, executional capabilities, and ongoing solutions management.

Salary: $250-350k OTE, includes base salary + expected commissions at 100% of target.

Location: Youll have the flexibility to work from home and set your travel schedule to accommodate in-person client meetings.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

Were seeking experienced technical and sales executives with a track record of strategizing & operationalizing technology solutions to solve critical business problems. You should also have a bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field and experience driving tech sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for Microsoft's Manufacturing focused solutions in the East Coast region.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft's AI and Azure offerings for Manufacturing, including personalized Manufacturing experiences, management, and operational efficiency tools.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in Manufacturing organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions that address unique Manufacturing challenges.
  • Stay current on Manufacturing industry trends and Microsoft's evolving product offerings.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience with Microsoft technical services, Azure, and AI solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the Manufacturing industry and its technological needs.
  • Strong network of contacts within the East Coast Manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for Manufacturing clients.

You see new opportunities for specialty solutions and services, execute technical account growth strategy in partnership with services delivery, and drive efficiency through automation and analytics.
  • Client Engagement Skills You share our goal to make meaningful connections each day that positively impact the lives of the people we serve, including our clients, partners, and teammates. You build strong customer relationships with executive-level decision-makers around their data, providing trusted advisory services to assist them achieving their analytic business objectives.
