Marketing Director wanted for a creative, fast-growing company in the outdoor living industry managing two distinct brands:

• A B2B brand serving contractors, designers, and trade professionals.

• A B2C brand focused on homeowners who want to elevate their outdoor space.

Our mission is to transform outdoor environments with stunning, high-performance products—and we’re looking for a strategic, creative, and entrepreneurial Marketing Director to take our brand presence and customer engagement to the next level.

This is an in-office position based in Carefree, Arizona. You'll work side-by-side with leadership and our in-house creative team to make an immediate impact.

Position Summary:

As our Marketing Director, you’ll own the full marketing function for both brands—from strategy and campaign planning to hands-on execution. You’ll lead a small team of two that supports content creation (photography, design, etc.), while also stepping into the spotlight yourself as the on-camera face of the brands for videos, product demos, and social content.

You’ll need to be equally comfortable thinking big picture, rolling up your sleeves to execute, and representing the brand with charisma and confidence. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a deep understanding of what drives growth across both B2B and B2C channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and manage distinct marketing strategies for our B2B and B2C brands, tailored to their target audiences.

• Define campaign calendars, product launch plans, and brand voice/messaging for each brand.

Content Creation & On-Camera Engagement

• Serve as the on-camera spokesperson for educational, promotional, and behind-the-scenes video content.

• Work closely with the creative team to plan and produce engaging visuals and videos for web, social media, and email.

Campaign Execution

• Plan and run multi-channel marketing campaigns (social, email, paid ads, SEO, influencer, etc.).

• Write or oversee compelling copy and content for email, social media, landing pages, and more.

Digital & Performance Marketing

• Manage paid ad campaigns (Meta, Google, etc.) for both B2B lead gen and B2C conversion.

• Optimize websites and landing pages for SEO, conversion, and user experience.

Analytics & Optimization

• Track KPIs across platforms and campaigns, analyzing performance and making data-driven decisions to improve ROI.

• Regularly report on campaign success and areas for growth to the leadership team.

Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Manage and mentor a small internal marketing team (photography, execution, content).

• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure alignment and support business goals.

Industry Understanding

• Apply your understanding of the outdoor living industry to shape messaging, anticipate seasonal trends, and create value-driven content that resonates with both pros and homeowners.

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of experience in a marketing leadership role

• Proven success managing and growing both B2B and B2C brands

• Confident on-camera personality with excellent communication and presentation skills

• Skilled in digital marketing, content strategy, email, SEO, and paid advertising

• Highly organized, with the ability to lead strategy while getting hands-on in execution

• Entrepreneurial mindset—self-starter, proactive, and adaptable

• Experience managing creative resources (internal or freelance)

• Knowledge of the home improvement, or outdoor design industries

• Familiar with tools like Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, WooCommerce
