Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven Marketing Manager with a strong background in B2B marketing and logistics. This role will be crucial in developing and executing strategies to build and grow our brand, enhance customer engagement, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketer with a deep understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, and lead generation within the freight, logistics, or transportation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Development: Create and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with our business goals and helps differentiate us in the competitive freight brokerage market.
Digital Marketing: Manage online campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, social media, and email marketing. Optimize website performance and oversee SEO/SEM strategies to increase visibility and lead generation.
Content Creation & Management: Develop engaging content such as blog posts, case studies, white papers, videos, and infographics to establish thought leadership and support lead generation efforts.
Lead Generation & Nurturing: Oversee lead generation strategies, including paid campaigns, email marketing, and webinars. Design and implement strategies to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports to measure success and adjust strategies accordingly.
Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to continuously refine marketing strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Operations, and senior leadership to ensure marketing strategies align with business objectives. Support sales with collateral, presentations, and other marketing materials.
Event Management: Organize and manage industry events, trade shows, and webinars to increase brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the freight, logistics, or transportation industries.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies, including digital marketing, content creation, and lead generation.
Skills: Expertise in SEO/SEM, email marketing platforms, social media marketing, Google Analytics, and content management systems (CMS). Experience with CRM tools and marketing automation platforms is a plus.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging for different audiences.
Creative Thinker: Ability to develop creative marketing campaigns that capture attention and drive results.
Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to analyze data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. MBA or additional marketing certifications are a plus.
