Job Summary

The Mass Production Baker must have the professional experience to assist with mass bakery production. This position requires a positive attitude and good communication skills, and we must maintain our excellent culinary standards.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a repetitive, fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform a combination of hands-on scratch or mass processing of baked goods, gummies, and snacks
  • Ability to produce high-quality baked goods in large quantities
  • Meets daily labor and waste goals as planned and driven by management
  • Responsible for maintaining exceptional company standards for product specs and quality
  • Observe products across multiple stages to ensure proper weights, baking, decorating, quantitative count, cooling timeline, packaging, label accuracy and that finished goods are stored properly
  • The ability to bake allows for modern and traditional recipes
  • Execute baking consistency in product repetition
  • Manage inventory of all baking supplies and ingredients
  • Must follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Must work well with others, especially in a team setting
  • Assists management staff in the general operation of the facility

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • 1 Year of Baking experience is required
  • In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food prep, baking techniques, and nutrition
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time (3+ hours)
  • Has a strong record of reliable attendance.
  • A flexible schedule, including daytime, night, and weekend availability, to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must be twenty-one (21) years of age
  • Applicant must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the Arizona Department of Health Services
  • Valid Arizona Identification

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Onsite; Happy Valley, Phoenix, AZ, willing to commute to Tempe.
