Job Description

AST is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Engineering Team for the Y2025 summer internship period. This is a full-time position that is located onsite in Tacoma, Washington.
The compensation range for onsite WA applicants is $22.50 to $25.00 an hour. All applicants are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Work with engineers to create concepts and designs using 3D modeling tools.
• Assist with documentation, technical writing, and research.
• Assist with experimentations, machine testing, prototyping, and functional verification.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Self-motivated, energetic, and disciplined, with keen attention to detail.

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in an Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering curriculum

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to take and successfully pass a drug test.
