Job Description

Stratpharma is a specialty Medical Device company specializing in advanced wound dressings. Reporting to the Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Commercial Officer-North America, the MSL serves as a field-based clinical and medical expert for the business. The individual will be responsible for engaging in medical and scientific exchange and gaining insights to support Stratpharma's existing business areas, research areas, and disease states of interest. The MSL will develop and maintain relationships with medical experts in Oncology (supporting Care [Radiation and Clinical] oncology), Surgery and Specialty wound care, Dermatology, Women's Health, and other relevant medical disciplines. Through scientific exchange, the MSL will communicate and advance the scientific platform aligned with medical communications and Medical Affairs strategies. Every day will be different.

This is an office-based role in San Diego, with regular interaction with stakeholders internationally and expected regional/national travel.

Tasks

1. The identification and communication of research gaps, opportunities, and relevant field intelligence to inform medical strategy.
2. Conducting on-site or virtual training and presentations for external and internal stakeholders.
3. Meeting with KOLs, regulators, and insurance companies.
4. Attending and organizing national and international congresses.
5. Implementing clinical trials.
6. Leveraging expertise to enhance knowledge among stakeholders.
7. Representing Medical Affairs at medical/scientific meetings with KOLs and HCPs (Doctors, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners).
8. Scouting and evaluating trial sites for new indications, products, or lifecycle management.
9. Supporting cross-functional colleagues in commercial, marketing, and clinical operations activities.

Leading team training and development on products, including onboarding and product training.

Requirements

To be considered, ideally you will have:

• An advanced scientific, healthcare, or medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, RN).
• Experience as an MSL.
• Experience in radiation therapy, oncology supportive care, women's health, or wound care.
• Proven ability to build productive collaborations with medical experts.
• Knowledge of regulations and practices related to industry interactions with healthcare professionals.
• Valid driver's license.
