Summary
Bach to Rock is looking for passionate and versatile Music Teachers to join our team. This role is ideal for musicians who enjoy teaching, inspiring students, and making music enjoyable and accessible to all ages. You’ll teach private lessons, lead group classes, and help students build confidence through performance and collaboration.

Teachers are scheduled based on student demand, with peak teaching hours during weekdays from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. The ideal candidate is skilled on their primary instrument or voice, can teach multiple styles, and thrives in a lively, creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach private and group lessons in your primary instrument(s) and/or voice
• Lead student bands, ensembles, or group classes
• Create an engaging, positive, and encouraging learning environment
• Adapt lessons to different ages, skill levels, and learning styles
• Provide clear feedback and progress updates to students and families
• Prepare students for performances, showcases, and recitals
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to support the B2R mission

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency on your primary instrument/voice (ability to teach multiple instruments a plus)
• Ability to teach in a variety of musical styles (rock, pop, jazz, classical, etc.)
• Previous teaching experience preferred but not required
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, reliable, and able to make lessons fun and engaging
• Reliable transportation to and from the school
• Availability during peak teaching hours
