Essential Duties:

  • Direct supervision of 14-30 team members. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Responsible for daily/weekly scheduling, supervising, and directing the Regional Surgical Office team.
  • Initiate the training and development of newly hired team members.
  • Participate in the evaluation of team members and complete evaluations/annual performance reviews.
  • Monitor the performance of team members and provide intermittent coaching/counseling whenever appropriate.
  • Coordinate disciplinary actions with the Human Resources Department.
  • Assist the Clinical Supervisor in enforcing standard infection-control protocol measures to prevent injury and illness.
  • Management of inventory control.
  • Monitor and maintain office equipment.
  • Ensure scheduling function for consultations and procedures, as well as assignment of physicians to clinical procedures.
  • Promote favorable relations with patients, physicians, and team members.
  • Maintain an optimum flow of patients throughout the day.
  • Observe, record, and report any team member deviation or violation of state laws or regulations to management and/or physicians. Ensure Bosley medical/clinical policies and protocols are always followed.
  • Monitor and perform the collection process and ensure proper procedures are followed when team members conduct collections, batch close-outs, and bank deposits.
  • Assists in the management of the office budget. Maintain and audit the petty cash fund.
  • Review patient records, consultation and patient schedules, administrative notes, computer inputs, and other pertinent information to ensure team members are following established procedures on recordkeeping and administrative assignments.
  • Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and appropriate use of all patient and prospective patient information, as well as all company financial, employment, marketing, and management information resources.
  • Plan, organize, and participate in “Quadpod” (on-site leadership) meetings with physicians and Senior Counselors to review office operations and policies.
  • Participate in periodic management conference calls and semi-annual office manager meetings.
  • Perform additional duties at the direction of the Vice President of Operations and Regional Manager.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS from 4-year college or university; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, accounting software, Internet software, human resource systems, database software, and contract management systems.
  • Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
