Are you an experienced press operator looking to take the next step in your career? Quad in Hartford, WI, is seeking Skilled Second Press Operators to join our team! We recognize your expertise and offer a competitive starting wage , beginning at $21.00 or more , based on your print experience.

Relocation assistance may be available for highly qualified candidates residing 100+ miles from our plant.

Your Role

As an Offset Second Press Operator , youll play a vital role in our printing operations, collaborating closely with the Offset First Press Operator to ensure seamless setups, efficient production, and top-notch quality control. Your focus on safety, precision, and customer satisfaction will be key to success.

Work-Life Balance

• 3 to 4 shifts per week (12-hour shifts: 7 a.m. 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. 7 a.m. )



• Includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays



• Overtime available and compensated beyond 40 hours per week



• Work just 182 days a year while maintaining full-time status!

Qualifications

Were looking for professionals with 2-3 years of print operator experience , specifically with offset presses such as Harris, Heidelberg, Goss, and Manroland (other models will also be considered). Ideal candidates should have:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.



• A commitment to quality and efficiency.



• The physical capability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.



• The ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press equipment based on provided instructions.



• Monitor and ensure quality standards (color, folding, mechanical precision).



• Guide and coordinate the press team to exceed production benchmarks.



• Perform maintenance, lubrication, and required documentation tasks.



• Assist in other print service roles as needed after training.

The actual rate of pay offered will vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base wage, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime and shift differentials.
