Oilfield Hauler Operator Job Description

The Oilfield Hauler is responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to and from oilfield locations in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. The individual in this role must operate heavy-duty trucks, flatbeds, and specialized oilfield transportation vehicles while adhering to company safety standards, federal and state regulations, and environmental guidelines.

Oilfield Hauler Operator Primary Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks and specialized oilfield hauling equipment to transport oilfield materials and personnel to and from job sites.
• Ensure that all equipment and materials are properly loaded, secured, and unloaded at designated locations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the safety and functionality of all equipment.
• Comply with all state and federal transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, ensuring proper documentation for each trip.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or safety hazards immediately to management.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment as necessary, including heavy lifting and rigging.
• Ensure the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, as required by industry standards.
• Adhere to all company and industry safety protocols, including the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Position Requirements

Oilfield Hauler Operator Job Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of on-the-job experience with Backhoes, Graders, and Dozers
• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (up to 75 pounds).
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• CDL Required, with appropriate endorsements.
• Knowledge of oilfield operations, safety standards, and equipment handling.
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as needed, depending on project schedules.
