Our client located in Breathtaking Coastal Maine is seeking a CIS-Clinical Informatics Specialist. Must be clinical. Graduate from accredited school of nursing or other healthcare fields such as pharmacy, lab, respiratory, etc. At least 2 years of clinical experience is required. Cerner Oracle EMR experience is preferred. Current knowledge of clinical practices and related information systems and computer applications is required.

Job Responsibilities of the CIS:

• Interviewing healthcare providers and patients, observing healthcare service delivery procedures, and collecting electronic healthcare data.
• Analyzing and interpreting data to identify areas that need improvement.
• Developing health information systems that support the collection, sharing, standardization, and integration of healthcare data.
• Collaborating on improving standards of care, policies, and procedures.
• Training healthcare staff on health information system deployment and management.

Minimum Requirements for the Clinical Information Specialist:

• Must be clinical. Graduate from accredited school of nursing or other healthcare fields such as pharmacy, lab, respiratory, etc .
• At least 2 years of clinical experience is required.
