Job Description
Flaherty & O’Hara is seeking a full-time paralegal or legal assistant. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Flaherty & O’Hara is a law firm that provides liquor licensing, transactional and related services to a variety of local, regional and national clients in the alcohol industry. Flaherty & O'Hara has developed proprietary software, Evergreen Renewal Services, to manage and file license renewals for clients around the country.
This position will include working with an attorney that focuses on alcohol related issues in Pennsylvania which will include direct contacts with clients, preparation and filing of applications, legal research and liquor license renewals.
Qualified candidates will have excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, proofreading skills and computer skills. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience with an electronic file management system, such as NetDocs, is preferred. Experience with an electronic billing system, such as TABS or Practicemaster, is preferred.
Paralegal certificate not required.
Remote work is possible after initial training.
Compensation varies based on education and experience.
