Summary

The Courier will be responsible for delivering packages from the Post Office and/or Municipalities to our Lockbox Processing facility. The Courier will receive orders from our team, pick up packages, and deliver them in a timely and safe manner.

Responsibilities:

• Picks up and transports parcels, packages, and other deliverables from Post Office and/or Municipality and delivers to our Lockbox Processing facility.

• Appropriately handles high value and/or confidential items.
• Receives assignments and work orders, reviews work orders, priority status, and designated time schedules to insure safe and timely deliveries.
• Completes the proper paperwork upon pick up and drop off of packages.
  
• Informs team of any issues that arise in a timely manner.
• Adheres to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Plans routes with adequate time to meet identified shipping/delivery deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• Ability to lift heavy mail trays (up to 50lbs) on a routine basis
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and communicate effectively.

Education:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent

Experience:

• Prior experience in a driver/courier role preferred but not required
