Audacy Kansas City 96.5 The Fan is looking for a part time, fill in host. Candidates must have on-air, hosting experience in radio, television or podcasting. Candidates must have local knowledge of Kansas City, its teams and community. If this sounds like you, we invite you to apply.
**Responsibilities**
**What You'll Do:**
+ Create original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
+ Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence
+ Protect the stations FCC license
+ Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift
+ Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
+ Operate the control board and perform production work
+ Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts
+ Other duties as required by management
**Qualifications**
**Required & Preferred:**
+ Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skills
+ Candidates must have at least 3 years radio experience and success in a medium to large market, or equivalent experience in a related sports profession.
+ This unique individual should possess a strong radio background and have an interest in sports, and be prepared to handle the most passionate sports fans in the world.
+ Must have solid productions skills and a strong working knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air and production execution, including on-air digital systems.
+ Knowledge of the format and audience required.
+ Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays as this job may require it
+ Excellent on-air voice with demonstrated track record required
