Hybrid Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist ?
Job Description A local hospital is seeking to build out a team that will work as an extension of the nursing team. This role is vital in ensuring patient care and smooth operations within the hospital.
Responsibilities - Perform phlebotomy procedures.
- Ambulate patients and monitor their walking.
- Conduct EKGs.
- Answer call lights.
- Perform vital sign checks as needed.
- Stock supply closets during downtime.
Essential Skills - Proven phlebotomy experience verified with references.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience as a medical assistant.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
