Job Description

Title: Product Designer

Payrate : $75-82/hour

Duration: 6-month assignment (possibility for extension)

Start Date: December 1, 2025

Location: Cupertino, CA (Onsite)

Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Product Designer to help conceptualize, design, and build world-class user experiences across products, services, and accessories. In this role, you will translate complex product requirements into intuitive, elegant, and impactful design solutions that reach billions of users worldwide.

The ideal candidate is a highly creative and detail-oriented designer with deep experience crafting polished interfaces for desktop, web, and iOS platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsincluding Engineering, Product Marketing, and Senior Leadershipto shape thoughtful and cohesive design solutions that elevate every human interaction across visual, tactile, and auditory dimensions.

What Youll Do:

  • Research, conceptualize, design, and prototype new user experiences across desktop, web, and iOS applications
  • Produce high-quality design deliverables including mockups, prototypes, visual assets, and implementation-ready documentation
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Product Marketing, and Senior Management to ensure design alignment and accurate execution
  • Communicate design concepts clearly through sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and presentations
  • Develop thoughtful and user-centered solutions by distilling complex problems into simple and elegant interactions
  • Maintain consistency across products through strong attention to typography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy
  • Participate in design critiques and contribute to an iterative, feedback-driven design process
  • Work independently and within team environments to deliver on multiple concurrent projects under tight timelines
  • Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, design tools, and creative methodologies
  • Create work that will be seen and experienced by millions globally
  • Utilize and maintain proficiency across design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, and prototyping environments
  • Contribute to the development of scalable design systems and best practices

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience designing exceptional user interfaces for web, mobile-web, and iOS applications
  • A strong online portfolio demonstrating expertise in user experience and visual design across desktop and touch devices
  • Ability to communicate concepts through sketches, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, and related design tools
  • Experience designing end-to-end iOS app experiences with familiarity in iOS development principles
  • Ability to prototype using HTML/CSS/JavaScript, AfterEffects, or similar tools
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in both independent and team environments
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Enthusiasm for iterative design processes and constructive feedback
  • Experience in e-commerce environments is a plus
  • A passion for Apple, its products, and its customers is required

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Icon design or 3D design experience
  • Prior experience working within highly technical product teams
  • Deep understanding of design systems and multi-platform experience architecture
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies across web, mobile, and interactive devices
