Your Contribution to Our Growth

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our team in Toronto to focus on our B2B2C Retail Brokerage Platform. In this role, you will be at the heart of building and enhancing our crypto B2B2C retail brokerage platform, which includes APIs, an admin portal, mobile applications, and all the typical functionalities found in spot trading. You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including compliance teams, clients, product owners, and developers, ensuring that our platform meets the evolving needs of the crypto retail market while adhering to the highest regulatory standards.

As the Product Manager, you will drive the development of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes, translating complex business requirements into actionable user stories. Your deep understanding of trading and settlement processes in a retail brokerage context will be essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You'll be responsible for managing the product backlog, prioritizing sprint items, and ensuring product direction aligns with the company's strategic goals. Additionally, you will be a key player in maintaining client-facing documentation, verifying product quality before deployments, and sharing your knowledge of the industry with the broader team.

This is a unique opportunity to make an impact in a rapidly growing sector of the financial technology industry. If you have a solid technical background, a strong understanding of retail brokerage processes, and a passion for crypto, we’d love to hear from you. This hybrid role offers the chance to work with a dynamic, globally distributed team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the crypto space.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with stakeholders and end-users to gather, document, and analyze requirements to identify new features, enhancements and/or bug fixes.
  • Translate business requirements and trading business nuances into clear, actionable user stories ensuring delivery and quality assurance teams fully understand the context and implementation requirements.
  • Collaborate with other domain leads in designing product solutions.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlog and sprint items.
  • Act as primary product liaison between stakeholders and development team.
  • Ensure client facing documentation is concise, informative, and up to date.
  • Maintain product direction and strategy as set by the leadership team.
  • Assist in verifying product quality before production deployments.
  • Share product and industry knowledge with the broader team.

We’d Love to See

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of business systems experience in financial technology, investment brokerage or operations domains.
  • Excellent understanding of funding, trading and settlement in a B2B retail brokerage context
  • Strong technical background with experience in software delivery using Agile SDLC methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience navigating through complex regulatory landscapes
  • A background in the crypto/digital asset industry
  • Track record of successfully delivering system solutions
  • Experience designing workflows, data flow diagrams, and event modeling
  • A good understanding of product and application development
  • Ability to adapt quickly and collaborate effectively in fast-paced delivery cycles

At our offices you will find a group of people that embrace diversity and value performance over pedigree. Every day we draw value from the diverse experiences of our team whose backgrounds include top financial institutions, tech companies and untraditional backgrounds. Our success comes from identifying exceptional people and providing them with the platform to reach their true potential. Even if you feel you may not meet all the job requirements, we encourage you to apply!
