Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Remote (East Coast hours)

A popular media company and professional sports league, they are a global company headquartered in New York City with offices in California.

Compensation Expectation: $70-75/hour

The Role of Project Manager

• The Project Manager will lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with business objectives.
• Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies to project management, including organizing and facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate communication between teams, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned on project goals and status.
• Provide regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and foster collaboration to achieve high-quality results.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in an Agile and Scrum environment.
• Hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
• PMP
• Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent) is a plus.
