Quality Control Coordinator -Drafting

$75,000 - $85,000

We are seeking a skilled Project Q.C. Coordinator -Drafting to join and enhance our client's growing team. This full-time exempt position offers an opportunity to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that exceed client expectations. In this role, you will utilize specialized software and uphold industry standards while performing critical quality control tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and ensure quality across all drafting activities for assigned projects, including shop tickets, hardware details, 3D models, and erection drawings.
• Check and verify bills of materials, erection drawings, shop drawings, 3D models, and related documentation.
• Provide constructive feedback to detailers and modelers regarding the quality of their work.
• Send finalized shop tickets to engineers for final review.
• Independently interpret construction documents and shop drawings from other trades.
• Assist in the training and development of CAD technicians and project drafters.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Associate degree or trade school completion preferred but not required.
• A minimum of 7 years of precast drafting experience.

Software Proficiency:

• Microsoft Office
• Autodesk Revit
