JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise a team of quality control inspectors across receiving, in-process, and final inspection.
Determine and distribute assignments, responsibilities, and priorities for quality control personnel.
Perform assessment of employee performance and execution of tasks, including adherence to applicable industry standards and engineering documentation.
Generate and train on inspection criteria, work instructions, and quality documentation for overall product quality.
Support material review board (MRB) and serve as escalation path for nonconformance dispositioning.
Monitor and analyze nonconformance data and drive achievement of metric goals.
Drive root cause and corrective action for systemic issues and other quality investigations.
Train and mentor employees on company processes and procedures including use of supporting systems.
Communicate across disciplines (manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, etc.) to enable daily operations.
Perform regular audits of departments and production areas for applicable procedures and requirements including FOD and ESD control.
Identify and implement areas for process improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

US Citizenship required
Bachelor's degree required, engineering or related degree preferred. High School Diploma required.
Aerospace/electronics manufacturing background
Must have background in electronics manufacturing with root cause manufacturing.
Ability to resolve issues without being advised.
