Job Description

Our client seeks a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) based at Littleton CO . The RSM will be responsible for leading and managing sales activities within the West region, currently covering Colorado, Arizona and California. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, leading a sales team, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets specifically within the Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) and Precast sectors. RSM will lead our client's expansion into new market segments in the region and will work closely with the sales team, project management, engineering, production, and other departments to ensure alignment and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy Development:

• Develop and execute a strategic expansion sales plan including entrance into new product and customers segments (for example Precast In Colorado)

• Analyze market trends and competitor activities within the RCP and Precast industry to identify opportunities and threats. Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of 4 sales representatives.

• Set performance objectives and regularly monitor progress against goals.

• Foster a positive and high-performance sales culture. Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships within the RCP and Precast sector.

• Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives, providing tailored solutions. Technical Expertise:

• Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers and the sales team.

• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and advancements in RCP and Precast products.

Performance Monitoring:

• Track sales metrics and report data monthly

• Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports. Collaboration:

• Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure customer needs and market trends are communicated effectively.

• Collaborate with other regions to share best practices and strategies. Budget Management:

• Develop and manage the regional sales budget.

• Optimize resources and manage expenses to ensure profitability. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Business, Marketing, Construction Management or a related field preferred.

• Proven sales experience within the reinforced concrete pipe and precast industry.

• Demonstrated ability to grow company to #1 or 2 in the market

• Knowledge of Colorado precast market is a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a high-performing sales team.

• Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.

• Ability to travel within the region as needed. Preferred Skills: In-depth knowledge of reinforced concrete pipe and precast products, including industry standards and specifications.

• Familiarity with the construction and infrastructure sectors.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
