Job Description

Job Title: CPA - Tax Manager - Remote | WFH Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned CPA with a strong passion for real estate and construction to join our innovative CPA firm as a Tax Manager. This fully remote position offers a remarkable opportunity for a skilled professional to excel in a dynamic and supportive work environment that emphasizes collaboration and flexibility. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and review the preparation of intricate tax returns. Conduct research and resolve complex tax issues. Lead and mentor project teams to deliver exceptional results. Manage client engagements and cultivate strong relationships. Drive process enhancements and adapt to evolving technologies. Required Skills: Active CPA License is mandatory. Minimum of 5 years of recent public accounting experience in a paperless setting. Proven expertise in reviewing complex returns, including 1065s for real estate/construction clients, and managing 1031 exchanges and partnership agreement analyses. Excellent leadership and communication skills for supervising teams and managing client interactions. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software (preferably CCH Axcess & Engagement). Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with an ability to adapt to new technologies. Collaborative mindset, eager to share knowledge and learn from colleagues. Qualifications: Active CPA License is required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in public accounting, specifically in real estate and construction sectors.
