Research Assistant I
Dean’s Professional Services is seeking a Research Assistant I to support child development research projects at UT Health Sciences in San Antonio. This role involves working with children, families, and teachers, performing assessments, collecting data, and assisting with program activities.
Responsibilities:
Conduct child assessments and family/teacher interviews
Perform classroom observations and live coding evaluations
Manage and analyze research data
Assist with participant recruitment, consent, and parent/teacher meetings
Travel to research sites in San Antonio and across Texas as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human development, biology, or related field (Master’s preferred; experience may substitute for degree)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Reliable transportation required
CITI Human Subjects Research training within 5 days of hire
