Shift Details: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional weekend and after-hour requirements. Position is split 50/50 between Froedtert New Berlin Hospital and Froedtert Oak Creek Hospital.
Job Summary: Organizes and administers areas of Patient Care Services to attain the hospital's objectives established by the health system.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Recent 3 years' experience in ED nursing leadership at hospital and/or multi-site hospital system, will consider current or recent charge nurse experience with demonstrated leadership skills. Minimum five (5) years prior experience in ED patient care services.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Associates degree. Bachelors' degree in nursing, healthcare management, or administration preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Maintains regulatory requirements, including all federal, state, local laws and regulations and accrediting organization standards Maintains and ensures patient confidentiality at all times Ability to communicate effectively, maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with physicians and all levels of staff Resolves staff concerns at all levels, utilizing the grievance process as required Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the health system Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Ability to work with all levels of staff to define business requirements and goals, and to identify and resolve issues Ability to foster effective relationships and build consensus through the all levels of leadership in the organization Knowledge and ability to work on large-scale complex projects that include multiple strategic goals and multiple tactical tasks.
LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Current state license as a registered nurse. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
