About the Company:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team in Cumming, GA. The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
  • Provide training and education to employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.
  • Investigate and report on workplace accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities and incidents.
  • Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) are a plus.
