Overview Sales Consultant - Gutters and Fireplaces at TruTeam . This role focuses on selling gutters and fireplaces to residential and light commercial accounts. The position requires a motivated sales professional with experience in the construction industry and a track record of developing new accounts and building trusted relationships. Your Responsibilities Identify prospective customers and consistently generate and follow up on leads. Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts. Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs and interests. Understand the market you serve, monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales. Meet monthly sales targets. Communicate safety programs to customers at the inception of sale by inspecting job sites to identify any safety concerns. Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion. Other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned. Your Qualifications 3+ years sales experience in building products / construction. Minimum of 18 years of age. If operating a Company Vehicle, a valid driver’s license will be required. Travel and Physical Requirements Travel: Local; Amount of Travel Required: >50% Flexible schedule may include evening and weekend hours as required by job demand. Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted. Work is performed at installation sites and may involve ladder climbing, stooping, balancing, kneeling, crawling, bending, lifting, driving, and long periods of standing or sitting.
