Position Type: Support Staff/Secretary Date Posted: 6/16/2025 Location: White Hall Middle School The White Hall School District is seeking a school secretary for Attendance and Discipline for the 2025 - 2026 school year. The Secondary Secretary must have excellent communication skills, greet guests and students in a friendly manner and provide a welcoming environment. Terms of Employment: 245 Day Contract Salary based on districts Classified Salary Schedule Personal Qualifications ; Assist the Principal, Asst. Principal and Dean of Students as requested. Perform general office duties to include answering the phone, routing calls or messages to appropriate staff. Greeting office visitors. Responsible for student attendance and discipline in the eSchool program. Completes a high volume of computer work, using district computer programs to input data with accuracy, including confidential data. Works with various school and student reports including, but not limited to: attendance, transcripts, immunization records, discipline, and schedules Run Cognos reports for Principal and Counselors. Perform accounting (requisitions, purchase orders) and inventory duties as assigned. Maintain strict confidentiality of students' permanent records, and staff requisitions. Filing, sorting and handling incoming and outgoing mail. Compose letters or other correspondence using correct grammar, word usage, spelling and punctuation. Should have knowledge of eSchool, Microsoft and Google. Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Duties also include assisting the principal and staff with special projects and any other duties as assigned. Adhere to all policies of the District. Attends work regularly and is punctual.
