Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Scrum ceremonies, interface with teammates and customers, provide Development/Security/Operations (DevSecOps) recommendations to the Program Management Office, and update team tasks and user stories.

 

Candidates must be willing to work on-site daily at NAVAIR PAX River in Maryland.

Travel: 0% Clearance:

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance (or higher)
• 5+ years of professional experience supporting Agile system/software development
• Demonstrated experience developing and evaluating team performance.
• Experience with Jira, GitLab, or Microsoft Azure DevOps (or similar Agile project management program).
• Active Scrum Master certification.

Responsibilities:

• Help development teams become high-performing teams by:
  
  • Removing team impediments.
  • Providing individualized Agile coaching and mentoring, as needed.
  • Developing and evaluating metrics and other useful methods of evaluating team performance. 
• Facilitate Scrum Team ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospective meetings
• Interface with the customer to understand new requirements to support mission objectives
• Provide recommendations to the Program Office and vendors on best practices for DevSecOps implementation.
• Update tasks and stories, check-in, and version control.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Either 2+ years of experience with Navy ERP systems OR 5+ years of experience supporting DoD aircraft or weapon systems

Education: BS or BA in Business Administration, Computer Systems Administration, or Information Systems Management. Compensation:

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

 

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $135,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
