We're looking for a talented and passionate Senior Copywriter to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be a key player in crafting compelling narratives that connect with healthcare audiences and drive meaningful results for our clients. You'll collaborate closely with a team of creatives, strategists, and account managers to develop innovative campaigns across various channels.

Essential Job Duties and Skills:

  • Develop original and engaging copy for a range of healthcare clients, including, medical centers, healthcare groups, hospital networks, medical device manufacturers, and health and wellness brands.
  • Write persuasive and informative content across diverse media, including print, digital, video, social media, and emerging platforms.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all materials while ensuring accuracy and adherence to client style guides.
  • Translate complex scientific and medical information into clear, concise, and compelling language that resonates with target audiences.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, client presentations, and internal reviews, providing valuable insights and creative solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives to deliver impactful and results-driven campaigns.

Other Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, advertising, communications or related field of study preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience as a copywriter in a creative agency or healthcare marketing environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your healthcare writing expertise across various channels and formats.
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology and the ability to translate complex information for a lay audience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a desire to make a difference through your work.
  • Ability to multitask, take initiative, work efficiently and be flexible when quick turn-around projects come up.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proofread and edit as necessary.
  • Travel periodically, as needed.
